Privacy Policy

The professional is the person or business that subscribes to Agenda Astec and manages their own calendar. The client is the person who books an appointment with that professional. For client information, the professional decides what is collected and why, and Agenda Astec handles it on their behalf as a service provider.

• Business name, email address and WhatsApp number;
• Password, stored encrypted: nobody can read it, not even us;
• Details the professional adds to their profile: photo, address, Instagram, services, prices and working hours.

We use this to keep the account working, show the public booking page and send notices about the subscription.

When someone books an appointment, the system keeps their name, phone number and booking history. The professional may also record an email, birthday, notes and appointment photos. This information belongs to that professional's practice and only they (and their team, if any) can see it. A professional never sees another professional's clients.

If the professional uses an intake form, allergies, health conditions and medications that the client provides are stored on that form. It is visible only to the professional and their team, used only to provide safe service, and can be deleted at the client's request.

The system can send appointment confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp, from the professional's own number, and, where available, by text message (SMS).

• We send SMS only to people who agreed to receive them when booking. Agreeing is not a condition of booking.
• Messages are limited to appointment confirmations, reminders and notices. We do not send marketing texts.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
• We do not share phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.

We do not ask for or store card numbers, bank passwords or ID documents. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for advertising.

The system is hosted on Vercel and the data is stored in a database at Neon: infrastructure providers that only keep the system running. Agenda Astec is operated from Brazil, so information may be processed outside the United States. Access is protected by password and all traffic is encrypted.

Information is kept while the account is active. If the professional asks to close the account, the account and its data are deleted. Business financial records may be kept without the client's name and phone number.

Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have the right to know what personal information is held about you, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and not to be treated differently for using these rights. If you are a client of a professional, please contact them first, since they manage those records; you can also contact us directly. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

The professional can, from the Clients screen, download a copy of a client's information and delete it. When deleted, the record, forms, photos, notes and waitlist entries disappear. Appointment, package and order records remain only as the business's financial history, without your name and phone number.
